Where Are We?
Our project is based out of a town called Sungaipenuh ("full river") in the Bukit Barisan
mountain range of central Sumatra, Indonesia. We chose this location because
the town is surrounded by, and hosts the administrative headquarters of,
Kerinci-Seblat National Park (KSNP). Orang pendek
sightings and folklore are far more prevalent here than in any other region of Sumatra.
